Date: Thursday, April 17, 2014 - 8:00 am

The South Hill Market Square Committee will host Klaxton Brown Band on Thursday April 17 as part of the Third Thursday Concert Series for 2014.

Who says a jazz band can't party? Klaxton Brown is the ultimate party band. Combining the old with the new, Klaxton's sound will blow you away. You'll be more than satisfied after hearing this great band.

Jazz Saxophonist Robert (Bo) Bohannon formed Klaxton Brown in August 2005. He sought out diverse, seasoned, experienced, musicians that could help develop and influence the sound he was looking for. That sound and influence includes just about every genre of music including jazz, R&B, funk, gospel, pop, country and big band. These diverse influences combine to form a unique and enjoyable band.

Gates open at 6 pm with music starting at 6:30-9:30. Cost is $3 per ticket. Food will be available on site and IDs are required. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the sound of Klaxton Brown on April 17th in Market Square.
